Item Description
Enchanting classic Finch Mine specimen composed of multiple translucent orange Wulfenite blades all covered with a sparkling, sugary Quartz druse. The tabular Wulfenite blades are well defined showing sharp clean edges with the largest blade measuring 1.0 cm across. The blades have a nicely saturated bright orange color compared to many from this mine. The largest xtal is 1.7 cm across as shown. The secondary Quartz coating consists of tiny Quartz crystals that can be seen with magnification thoroughly covering all surfaces and forming a clear layer or zone on the Wulfenite edges. The piece is in great condition with only one small nick with the remaining crystals complete. The Wulfenite blades are sufficiently separated and extend vertically off the matrix to provide a good textural contrast. When backlit the Wulfenite just glows and resemble sugary pieces of gummy candy. A very charming specimen from this classic Arizona locality with great color and sparkle. A superb, pretty, large specimen from 1960s-1970s finds here.
