Item Description

Lustrous, glassy, yellow-orange wulfenite windowpanes richly and attractively cover the elongated gossan matrix on this showy specimen from the famous Rowley Mine of Arizona. The wulfenites are peppered and included with tiny reddish-orange mimetite balls, making this a classic combination piece from the Rowley. This is a rich and fairly distinctive color of wulfenite from this highly desirable, but far less common wulfenite locality from Arizona. Highly representative of the combination species and locale. Ex Jaime Bird Collection and dates to the 1960s or 70s, or earlier.
