Item Description
Tiger is one of the most revered Arizona secondary mineral localities. Specimens are fairly hard to find on the market, and the quality and sheer beauty of them is quite captivating. There are some associations from Tiger that you don't find anywhere else in Arizona, along with some other combos that are well-known but still quite distinctive. This piece is a wonderful small cabinet display specimen hosting excellent, sharp, well-formed, lustrous, gemmy orange blades of Wulfenite measuring up to about 6 mm, which are associated with slightly more reddish-orange colored Mimetite aggregates on oxidized matrix from the Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine. The piece is in great shape overall, with no major damage and it presents quite nicely as you can see. A lovely colorful example of this classic material.
Ex Dave Stoudt collection, formerly from the collection of Ken Hollman.
