Wulfenite with Mimetite

A great piece of this distinctive association from this famous locality. Beautiful caramel-orange colored, unusually prismatic Wulfenite crystals measuring up to 1.0 cm sit atop silvery-green botryoidal Mimetite on gossan matrix. Most of the Wulfenites are in good shape, only a few broken crystals and very showy. I have to stress that the fact that the piece has slender prismatic crystals is rare not only for the locality, but Wulfenite in general, as most of the time the species occurs in flat tabular crystals. These specimens are much rarer on the market than they were 10 years ago, so don't miss out. For those of you who remember the abundance of yellow Adamites from Mapimi on the market in the 1970s, look at how they have appreciated in value over the years.
