Wulfenite with Mimetite

An attractive display piece from the famous Ojuela Mine featuring thick tabular crystals of orange to darker caramel colored Wulfenite measuring up to 1.5 cm on edge, associated with translucent green spherical Mimetite aggregates on a matrix of Limonite. The crystals are in good condition for the most part, but the largest Wulfenite unfortunately does have a contact on one corner. This piece was mined in the early 2000s and was acquired in 2003 from Chris Wright, with an original value of $795, but it's certainly worth more in today's market. I love the color combo of the orange and green together and these pieces will not be around forever, so don't miss out. For those of you who remember the abundance of yellow Adamites from Mapimi on the market in the 1970s, look at how they have appreciated in value over the years, and are quite scarce on the market.
