Item Description
Sharp, bladed, rich orange color tabular crystal of Wulfenite are associated with green Malachite. The largest Wulfenite measures 6 mm. The label states that the piece is from Tiger, but gives no specific mine. This is certainly not the typical material from the Mammoth-Saint Anthony Mine, it's more of an outlier / oddball piece. A strange association specimen that would make Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#10773). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017).
