Beautiful, intensely-colored Wulfenite crystals to 1.3 cm make this specimen a visually impressive piece. The hot orange color and high luster really make these crystals jump, and their more complex forms enhance the aesthetics. Some of these prismatic Wulfenites even have the 'sandwich' habit that Los Lamentos Wulfenites are known for. Decorating the Wulfenites are snowflake-like sprays of Hemimorphite. STRONG color at the top of what is possible for here, combined with luster, make this a special miniature. Not only is the contrast in form and color enchanting, but the Hemimorphites also have an intense white fluorescence. Excellent and representative, the Hemimorphites add a special touch for this famous locality.
