Wulfenite with Descloizite

A rich, beautiful and classic cluster of fine Wulfenite crystals from Los Lamentos with two-toned crystals exhibiting a "wet look" with their super high luster! There are dozens of 0.5 to 1.2 cm blocky "caramel-like" crystals on the piece exhibiting a dominantly butterscotch-caramel interior as evident on the glossy prism faces and then a thin veneer of pale caramel on the pinacoid ends that display a satin luster. The piece is really comprised mostly of randomly oriented Wulfenite crystals without any matrix and the Wulfenite crystals show great separation to reveal their distinct color zoning! There are sparkling, 2 to 4 mm, brown tufts composed of slender Descloizite crystals scattered about the Wulfenites for added effect. The piece is complete all around with absolutely no bruising to the entire display face or periphery; only a few minor dings to a few crystals at the bottom, which may actually be points of attachment as this looks almost like a floater cluster of this Old classic style!
