Item Description

Highly lustrous, glassy, butterscotch-colored wulfenite blades in a striking boxwork pattern richly cover the gossan matrix on this showy CABINET specimen from the famous Glove Mine of Arizona. The glassy, flattened calcite rhombs peppered everywhere are an excellent and classic Glove Mine accessory. The windowpanes, to 3.0 cm, are highly lustrous and translucent. There are some broken crystals - its almost impossible to find a pristine Glove wulfenite. This remains a very highly representative large example of the species and famed locale. Excellent quality older material. Valued $1000. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection.. NOTE FRAGILITY: THIS SHOULD ONLY BE PURCHASED IF YOU CAN WAIT FOR ARRANGEMENTS FOR DELIVERY BY HAND AT A SHOW OR THROUGH A FRIEND WHO GOES TO SHOWS OR TO DALLAS.
