Item Description
This striking plate is attractively covered with numerous isolated wulfenite crystals and accented with sparkling, drusy calcite and iron oxides. The beauiful, gemmy and lustrous, reddish-orange wulfies reach 9 mm and have sharp beveled edges. In excellent shape, overall, with only one broken wulfie and one very gently bruised secondary crystal noted, for such rich coverage. Not the largest crystals, but the overall impact of the numerous, well-scattered crystals makes for an outstanding specimen and it displays great from either direction! Expertly prepared, with a sawed back and chiseled edges to enhance the display quality. Get a very good and very rich larger piece while you can. Fairly valued at $1000-1250 and worth it. Found in March of 2003.
