Wulfenite with Calcite

A very well composed piece consisting of a large, lustrous, green-yellow, 2.4cm Wulfenite as the centerpiece that is framed in a garland of pale pink Calcite rhombs. The Wulfenite is translucent and is actually a flattened bipyramid. Wulfenite specimens from Tsumeb are quite rare, especially good ones such as this! All of the Calcite crystals have sharp edges and are well-formed with very little damage and the bottom is contacted where separated from the pocket matrix.
