Wulfenite w/ Calcite (old classic AZ)

Item Description

Intergrown, lustrous, translucent, butterscotch-colored wulfenite prisms, to 1.2 cm, and clusters of oxide-tinted glassy flattened calcite rhombs cover all sides of the mounded triangular matrix on this showy and rich example from the famous Glove Mine, one of the signature Arizona wulfenite localities. The noted scattered bruising is certainly acceptable in the context of the species and locale. Older highly representative combinatiom material, probably from the 1950s. From a lead species collection.
