Wulfenite w/ Calcite (2006-2007 find)

Item Description

Sparkly, translucent, reddish-orange wulfenite blades to 6 mm (some lightly coated) densely cover areas of the front and back of the sculptural, sturdy gossan matrix on this showy two-sided rib. The wulfenites have sharp beveled edges. Snow-white to light gray tufts of tiny sparkly calcite rich cover both sides and some of the wulfies. This excellent specimen is from the one-time find in China in 2006-2007. It is a fine piece in this size range from the limited find. There are very, very few broken crystals anywhere on this piece. You don't see many around anymore! The crystals glow in strong light.
