A DISTINCTIVE, CLASSIC, two-sided specimen from the famous Ahumada Mine at Los Lamentos, Mexico. Gemmy, thin, tabular, butterscotch-colored wulfenite crystals richly cover one side of the sturdy gossan crust. The other side is FESTOONED with 3-dimensional mounds of highly lustrous clusters of tapered rust-brown to dark brown vanadinite variety endlichite crystals. Seldom do you see a Los Lamentos piece with such a rich variation of the two species. The few broken wulfenite crystals have very minimal impact on the overall quality of this unusual, extremely showy piece. Ex Mullane Collection and older material.
