Wulfenite (Urish Coll.)

Item Description

Sparkling, highly lustrous and translucent, reddish-orange, wulfenite crystals to 9 mm fill a sculptural vug on this showy and excellent miniature from the Harold Urish Collection. A fine older piece from the 320' level of the mine, before the major finds of 1996. Purchased from and probably collected by ace Arizona field collector, George Godas, in March, 1995 for $175. It is worth more today.
