Item Description

A classic Wulfenite specimen from the famous Glove Mine in Arizona. This mine is certainly best known for its unique Wulfenite specimens. This piece features a sharp, light caramel colored tabular crystal of Wulfenite which is coated by a micro layer of "sugary" Quartz. Additionally the crystal is associated with compressed colorless Calcite crystals on Goethite(?) matrix. From the collection of Harold Urish, whose label on the base of the box states that he self-collected the piece in February, 1991.
