When it comes to Wulfenite, most people probably think about flat, tabular crystals, but the contemporary specimens from the famous Ojuela Mine exhibit a habit that is rarely observed for the species. The crystals on this specimen are a great example of said material as they are notably elongated and tapered, but they're not prismatic, they actually have highly pronounced pyramidal faces. Think of stretching a four-sided pyramidal lengthwise from the top most point. This piece hosts many sharp, translucent, yellowish-orange Wulfenite crystals measuring up to 1.4 cm on a matrix of limonite gossan. These piece will not be around forever, so don't miss out.
