Minerals specimens of ANY variety are RARE from this obscure Mexican locale. This is an outstanding and aesthetic miniature from the Dave Stoudt Mexico Collection. The bifurcating rich golden-yellow blades dramatically set on the matrix crest look like an orange butterfly! The large crystal is 1.5 cm and both are pristine. The two attendant crystals on either side are fine accents. Dave paid $750 for this in February, 2004. Valued today at $900-1100 for very high quality and rarity. An exceptional and rare example from this locale. A MUST for the species or Mexico collector!
