Item Description

This is the first and only specimen we've seen from the Xichang REE occurrence (labeled as "Xi Chang") in China. The piece features dozens of sharp, lustrous, beautiful orange colored, bi-pyramidal Wulfenite crystals measuring up to about 2 mm, sitting atop off-white colored crystals of Baryte on matrix. The Wulfenite crystals look fantastic under magnification, and we've taken some close-up photos with a Canon MP-E 65 mm macro lens to better illustrate their quality. A cool locality specimen for any fan of worldwide Wulfenites or minerals from China. From the collection of Richard Rossi.
