Item Description

Classic and colorful combination material from the famous Rowley Mine. The sculptural vug on miniature matrix is lined with bright yellow-orange and orange-red sprays of mimetite needles along with a few elongated prisms. Scattered classic, gemmy golden-yellow to orangy-red wulfenite windowpanes, to 8 mm, are a super and typical accessory on this very showy piece. Ex Kay Robertson # 8712 and acquired from the Dawson's at their last Tucson Show in February, 1979. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017). A desirable and colorful Arizona combination.
