Wulfenite on Dolomite with Calcite

Classic for the famous Touissit area of Morocco, this is an excellent cluster of well-formed Wulfenites on a Dolomite and Calcite crust. The lustrous, yellow Wulfenites create multiple good viewing angles for this small-cabinet piece. With crystals up to 1.3 cm in size, the crystals have broad, flat terminations and wide beveled edges that simply sing 'Morocco'. As with most Wulfenites, there is some edgewear, but the aesthetics are so nice that this bit of wear is but a small part of the equation. Under UV light, the Dolomite fluoresces a soft blue-white and the Calcite orange, together producing a rather beautiful look. Wulfenites of this quality came out in the late 1970's to early 80s. Superb for this size, and very colorful and shippable as well.
