Wulfenite on Dolomite on Calcite (all fluorescent)

Vintage Touissit classics, these attractive yellow Wulfenites are exactly what you would expect from old 1970s finds this famous locality. Tabular with often-beveled edges, the silky luster and good translucence help accentuate the pleasant lemon-yellow color of the crystals. Under LW, the Wulfenites have a muted, yellow-green fluorescence, while under SW the Dolomites are a light blue and the Calcites a vivid orange. The largest crystal is about 1.2 cm on edge and there is limited edgewear on a number of the crystals. The medium-sized, 6 mm crystal featured in the pic demonstrates exactly the quality characteristics these aesthetic Wulfenites are known for.
