Item Description

A dramatic and impressive, LARGE CABINET, combination specimen from Tsumeb. Wulfenite is always desirable from this famed locale. Highly lustrous, glassy and transluent wulfenite crystals are very richly scatttered as individuals or in clusters on the matrix plate covered with sparkly, pastel-pink, cobaltoan dolomite microcrystals. The wulfies are bronze-brown and have striking, sharp, stepped-growth, beveled edges. The fabulous large, central crystal is 1.3 cm and the entire two-crystal cluster is 2.3 cm. The widespread isolated and concentrated crystals really add to the overall panache of this fine piece. There are even a few wulfies on the back of this two-sided rib. Ex Rob Smith Collection, a noted Tsumeb specialist. Valued at $2000-2500.
