Wulfenite on Calcite (ex Kay Robertson Collection)

Item Description

Fine, bright orange, thick, tabular crystals of Wulfenite sit atop silvery Calcite on matrix. The largest crystal group of Wulfenite measures 1.7 cm across. Very minor edge wear on the Wulfenites, but very good condition overall. It is very difficult to find matrix specimens of Wulfenite from the Old Yuma Mine, let alone near full cabinet sized display pieces. This is clearly old material, and seldom seen on the market. Attetnion Arizona collectors and Wulfenite collectors, here is a great find of this classic and elusive material. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#625).
