Wulfenite on Calcite (ex Harold Urish Collection)

Item Description

Attractive, yellow-orange color, bladed crystals of Wulfenite sitting on soft white Calcite on brown gossan matrix, creating an attractive color combination. Some of the Wulfenites are in really good shape, although others are broken. I photographed the crystals under the microscope to show that some of the Calcite are actually completely crystallized albeit on the micro level. From the collection of Harold Urish, and certainly an uncommon association based upon other Wulfenites I've seen from the 79 Mine.
