Item Description

From the famous Erupcion Mine, this large, cabinet specimen is populated by gemmy, highly lustrous bladed Wulfenites sitting on a Calcite matrix. The captivating, orange color is highlighted by the clarity and glassy luster. The largest crystals are about 1.2 cm on edge. Many of the edges are beveled, which accentuate the fine aesthetics even more. Acquired in 1960, this Mexican classic was #1714 in Kay's collection.
