Four, highly lustrous, classic, gemmy/translucent, reddish-orange wulfenite prisms with sharp beveled edges are artistically set in the middle of the sculptural, blocky, sturdy gossan matrix. The large crystal in the cluster is 1.3 cm and the scattered smaller wulfies and the peppering of tiny, glassy calcite crystals on the matrix are excellent accessories - and pretty much unique to this find and confirming this IS from that famous pocket. The extra sparkle, really adds a lot to this! This aesthetic piece is from the acclaimed 2003 'Red Gem Pocket ' at the renowned Red Cloud Mine, remembered for the special luster of these specimens. The four major wulfenites are very nearly pristine, with only very trivial edge wear to the large prism. A fine small cabinet matrix combination from the find. Valued $1000-plus.
