Item Description
Highly lustrous, translucent, reddish-orange wulfenite crystals to 9 mm are richly and aesthetically scattered on the gossan crust on this excellent and classic specimen from the famous Red Cloud Mine. The crystals have striking, razor-sharp, beveled edges. Ex Harold Urish Collection, a 40-year Tucson collector. His label indicates this piece is from the Red Cloud open cut! This may date the piece to the 1950s or 60s. Highly desirable, old-time and very uncommon material.
