For those who know this material, You will be impressed by the size and impeccable condition of this important American Wulfenite specimen. For anybody else, you will still be impressed because it is big, showy, and simply mesmerizing in the complex patterning. But aside from the beauty, it really truly is of historical and location importance, quite large for the size and in miraculous condition. The only comparables we have seen for sale of this nature and quality were in the auctions of the Currier estate, years ago now. Comparable examples are preserved in few collections. This is the classic style, from old finds of the 1950s. This is a major, important mineral specimen the likes of which we may not see for sale on the public market again in decades.
