Item Description
Classic and rich old-time wulfenite from the historic Helena Mine at Mezica. Lustrous, blocky to elongated prisms, to 1.5 cm, comprise this hefty specimen of solid wulfenite. Many of the crystals have "sandwich style" color variations, adding character and pizzazz. A very showy and rich specimen that comes with a F. Krantz label dating from after 1890. This excellent piece probably dates to prior to World War I.
