Item Description

A beautiful small cabinet display specimen featuring classic, gemmy and lustrous, bright orange wulfenite windowpanes to 9 mm richly clustered on one edge of the piece and are richly scattered on the rest of the piece from the famous Rowley Mine. The windowpanes have sharp beveled edges. The bright yellow botryoidal mimetite crystals and preferential coating of rare for the locale, drusy quartz, are fine complements. The mounded matrix is masssive barite! One edge and the back of the piece hosts many more wulfies as a bonus. Excellent condition all around, and some of the wulfenite crystals are WATER-CLEAR in clarity. The piece dates back at least 40-50 years. Ex Harold Urish Collection # 231 and valued at $750 for high quality, richness and rare combination. This excellent piece has several display possibilities.
