Item Description

A adorable miniature combination from the famous 2008 find a Mina Ojuela. A 1.2 cm, pseudocubic wulfenite monolith dramatically raises skyward from the rolling gossan matrix covered with pretty apple-green mimetite botryoids, a couple more wulfies and a sprinkling of contrasting white calcite crystals, which were unique to this find. Nearly pristine, the secondary wulfenite does have a lightly bruised termination. This remains one of the most aesthetic two-sided miniatures with isolated wulfenites and rich mimetite and calcite, that we have offered at auction.
