Item Description
Blocky, highly lustrous and translucent, butterscotch to caramel-colored, wulfenite crystals are richly and showingly scattered on the mounded matrix covered by starkly contrasting snow-white calcite on this classic CABINET specimen from Los Lamentos. The fat wulfies, to 1.6 x 1.6 x 1.1 cm, glow with gemminess under strong light and have preferential overgrowth of vanadinite variety endlichite. All of the major wulfenites are pristine, barring a trivial bit of periphery wear on the edge. Excellent and highly representative older, combination material, with blocky crystals from this noted locale. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
