This is a beautiful toenail size specimen featuring a 1.8 x 1.5 cm, gemmy/translucent, sharp, bright orange-red, highly lustrous crystal group that is flaring off matrix. On the lower part of the specimen is another water clear tabular crystal which is a nice touch. A fine specimen from one of the single most important localities in the Western United States. Considering that this locality has been completely buried and never will be mined again, these specimens are commanding a premium nowadays. Valued at $800 in Rich Kosnar's collection catalogue.
