Wulfenite (gemmy) (ex Rich Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

This is a beautiful thumbnail size specimen. This piece consists of a group of very sharp, tabular, stacked, gemmy, rich red-orange crystals of Wulfenite. One of the crystals has a section that is nearly water clear in one of the corners. This specimen is in superb condition and the color is excellent. The piece is essentially damage free on the display side. A fine specimen from one of the single most important localities in the Western United States. Considering that this locality has been completely buried and never will be mined again, these specimens are commanding a premium nowadays.
