A classic and excellent, two-sided, CABINET, wulfenite crust form famed Los Lamentos. This striking piece is solid wulfenite. The front consists of desirable highly lustrous, intergrown, "sandwich" style prisms with two different colors. The crystals are up to about 1.1 cm. The crystals on the back couldn't be more different looking! The dark caramel-brown prisms on the back are larger, to 1.7 cm, and are even glassier than the crystals on the front. Many of these crystals also have a very thin preferential coating of vanadinite variety endlichite, which is characteristic of many Ahumada Mine wulfies. This is older, outstanding, two-for-one material. Valued at $400-500.
