Wulfenite (ex Rich Kosnar collection)

Item Description

This is a beautiful toenail / large thumbnail size specimen. This piece consists of a sharp, lustrous, gemmy, tabular, rich red-orange color crystals of Wulfenite crystals measuring up to 1.3 cm perched upon Calcite matrix. This main crystal is in great shape, while the smaller one is contacted, but the color is superb. A fine little specimen from one of the single most important localities in the Western United States. Considering that this locality has been completely buried and never will be mined again, these specimens are commanding a premium nowadays.
