Item Description

This is a beautiful miniature size specimen featuring excellent quality, gemmy/translucent, sharp, bright orange-red, highly lustrous crystals that are flaring off matrix. A fine specimen from one of the single most important localities in the Western United States for mineral specimens. Considering that this locality has been completely buried and never will be mined again, these specimens are commanding a premium nowadays. The largest crystal measures 1.0 cm. From the collection of Harold Urish who obtained the piece on January 29, 1999 from Jimmy Dunn.
