Item Description
The Glove Mine in Arizona is known for its unique Wulfenite specimens, with this small cabinet piece being one of the rarely seen "black" variety. The Wulfenites are tabular to pillow-shaped, lustrous, and beveled, with the largest crystals reaching up to about 3 mm on edge. As is often the case with Wulfenite, there is some edge wear. It is believed that the black color is caused by a micro-coating of Coronadite. This is a quality and representative Glove Mine specimen.
