Wulfenite (ex Bruce Murphy Collection)

Item Description

A classic specimen of the famous Old Yuma Wulfenites. This thumbnail features a beautiful, sharp, thick, tabular, lustrous, translucent, gorgeous orange colored crystal measuring 1.6 cm on matrix. The left edge of the Wulfenite is not actually damaged, but has a bit of attached matrix, so it just didn't have enough room to finish crystallizing. A lot of Wulfenites from this locality are loose singles, so it's hard to find aesthetic matrix specimens like this. A great piece for any thumbnail collector, a Wulfenite collector or a fan of Arizona minerals. From the collection of Bruce J. Murphy.
