Wulfenite (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A rarely seen Wulfenite specimen from the Castle Dome District in the southwest corner of Arizona. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the specimen is the fact that the Wulfenite crystals are sitting on a sold "mound" of Galena, which is not common for Wulfenite specimens. Overall, the piece is a good specimen as several of the crystals are complete, and show beautiful golden-orange color with great lsuter. The largest Wulfenite measures 0.3 cm on edge. It is certainly uncommon to see these Wulfenites on the market, and the piece would make a great addition to a Wulfenite reference collection, or a suite of Arizona minerals.
