Classic intense orange-red color tabular crystals of Wulfenite up to 1.1 cm on oxidized matrix from the famous Red Cloud Mine. Great quality overall, with only a few broken crystals here and there. Red Cloud Wulfenites are among if not arguably the most well-known examples of the species from any world locality. Priced in the inventory at $1,000. From the collection of Robert (Bob) Reynolds who passed in August of 2020. Bob was a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of Earth Sciences at the San Bernardino County Museum in California. The rare phyllomanganate-chromate species Reynoldsite was named in his honor in 2011.
