An old-time, impressive and rare large combination specimen from the famous Erupcion Mine at Los Lamentos, one of Mexico's great wulfenite localities. Lustrous, translucent, butterscotch-colored tabular wulfenite prisms, to 2.0 cm, are dramatically scattered on the very 3-dimensional, sculptural 360-degree matrix of sturdy black manganese oxides. Adding much pizzazz and rarity to this piece are the patches and rich sprinkling of tiny, sparkly descloizite crystals on both the wulfies and the matrix. Every turn and angle of this imposing combination adds a distinctively different perspective to this very fine large older combination from the Gary Weaver Collection. Valued at $750.
