Item Description

A very showy and interesting large combination pseudomorph from the famous Glove Mine. Singles and clusters of highly lustrous, transparent to translucent, straw-yellow, wulfenite windowpanes are colorfully set on the plethora of coronadite pseudomorphs after sharp, tabular wulfenite crystals in the matrix crust of solid coronadite. The compound wulfenite crystals reach 2.0 cm. Clusters of glassy calcite crystals are noted on the back. Classic and excellent material from this noted locale. Ex Schlichter Collection. Valued at $400-500, as fine wulfenites on the pseudos are not that common.
