The Red Cloud Mine is one of the premier localities for Wulfenite in the world. The combination of the superb color, good sized crystals and showy display specimens makes them a must-have for any Wulfenite enthusiast. This piece is a fantastic thumbnail featuring a very sharp, highly lustrous, fiery reddish-orange colored, gemmy tabular crystal measuring 1.7 cm, with a thin "stem" of matrix flaring off the side. The crystal is in superb condition, the only roughness is on the bottom / underside where it separated from the pocket wall, but the glowing color, combined with excellent crystal form / morphology makes it a top-notch example of this incredibly classic material from one of the most significant localities not only in Arizona or the Western US, but all of the United States.
