When it comes to fine crystals of Wulfenite, the world famous Red Cloud Mine is one of the premier localities for the species. This small cabinet comes from the famous 1996 discovery, one of the best finds in history at the mine. The piece features a few sharp, lustrous, gemmy/translucent, rich reddish-orange colored tabular crystals of Wulfenite sitting on a layer of gem sparkling colorless Calcite on oxidized matrix. The main crystal measures 1.2 cm on edge, but please note that the corner is contacted, so it's not 100% pristine. A classic example of this wonderful, colorful and beloved material from one of the premier localities in the United States. Ex Les Presmyk / De Natura specimen.
