Wulfenite (classic material)

A classic display specimen of the famous Wulfenites from Touissit, Morocco featuring a coverage of sharp, lustrous, well-formed blades with a caramel-orange color measuring up to 2.0 cm on edge, sitting on matrix. A lot of the Wulfenites from this locality can be kind of "muddy" or dull, but this one has good color and luster and really displays well when you hold it in your hand. A few small nicks can be seen, along with the fact that a couple of the little accessory Wulfenites are broken, but the piece is largely in superb shape. I especially like the modified corners on the crystals, they're not just square panes, and they have more character. Valued $1,500.
