Item Description

A 2.0 x 1.8 x 1.1 cm blocky wulfenite crystal dominates this very rich and showy 3-sided curved crust from famed Los Lamentos. The sharp highly lustrous, partially translucent crystals vary from butterscotch to caramel to chocolate-brown in color adding character. The back of the piece reveals that the large crystal is, in fact, two intergrown sandwich-style crystals. The front is essentially pristine, with only trivial periphery wear noted. Choice, classic and excellent old-style wulfenite from the 1960s to 70s finds. Ex Raul Orellana Collection.
