Item Description
Glassy, highly lustrous, translucent, tabular, butterscotch-colored wulfenite crystals, to 1.4 cm, with subtle "sandwich-style" darker interiors are dramatically scattered jackstraw-style on the coated, sculptural, mounded miniature calcite matrix. All of the many wulfies are pristine. See the 2003 Mineralogical Record article in Mexico Special Issue III, Vol. 34, No. 6. Older material, wulfenite of this variety came out in the 1960s to 1980s. Ex Tony Gleckler Collection. A classic and showy example of this Los Lamentos variety.
