Wulfenite (classic locale)

Classic, lustrous, translucent, rich butterscotch-colored, tabular to blocky, "sandwich style" wulfenite prisms dramatically cover both sides of this sculptural two-sided combination rib from famed Los Lamentos. The large blocky crystal on the back is 1.9 cm on edge. The thin matrix crust is covered with tiny, brown, sparkly endlichite (arsenatian vanadinite) crystals. The front is pristine and the noted contacting to the large crystal on the back is certainly only a modest detraction to this very showy, rich and excellent combination example.
